The Role
ZeroKey is on an ambitious growth trajectory and we need a passionate and creative individual to help scale our marketing initiatives across a variety of channels. As the Digital and Social Media Specialist you will have the opportunity to design, build, and manage digital marketing strategies to drive growth in both brand and customer engagement. You come with previous experience building digital marketing plans from scratch, ideally focused in a B2B scale-up environment. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing digital campaigns and web experiences with a focus on nurturing customers and prospects, improving conversion rates, driving traffic to various social media platforms and increasing brand equity.

What you will work on

  • Plan and develop and execute on digital marketing strategies to enhance product brand awareness, audience engagement and lead generation.
  • Build, track and analyze campaigns for improvements and provide real-time and milestone updates.
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of a CRM strategy including: customer acquisition, promotional targeting, e-blasts and newsletters
  • Manages and executes various digital marketing and channel support activities including developing dashboards to track KPIs and customer experience, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop content strategy for various marketing initiatives including website and landing pages (SEO optimization), email campaigns and social media
  • Manage content marketing channels, campaign content and day-to-day content-related activities all in the effort to attract readers and turn those readers into customers.
  • Write, package, schedule and post social content and visuals, with appropriate use of hashtags and links
  • Produce regular social media tracking reports and proposes and implements responsive strategies for continued improvement
  • Monitors digital and social communications to identify issues and opportunities for engagement

Additionally, You Will Have

  • A full toolbox of digital experience including web, UX, social media, mobile, SEO, SEM, email and digital multimedia
  • A passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short term needs with long term strategic initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing analytics and ability to make recommendations to improve performance and test new tactics

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in digital and social media strategies
  • Proven success managing and implementing integrated digital communications and marketing campaigns
  • Experience developing and executing social media strategies and using content to drive awareness and deliver upon objectives
  • Prior B2B product marketing experience in the technology/software space (or equivalent skills and knowledge)
  • Experience in writing, editing and producing variety of digital communications (website content, social media, blogs, resource boards and more)
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management tools) and data analysis an asset, with a focus on marketing automation best practices (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress), social media reporting tools (i.e. HootSuite and SproutSocial) and Google Analytics
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills – and the ability to follow through and manage a variable workload
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • Proficiency with standard office environment software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proven problem-solving skills – a strategic thinker
