Job Description The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting graphic and visual content creation needs across the sales, marketing, and development teams at ZeroKey. The successful applicant’s job is to ensure the brand is communicated in a strong and consistent manner, inspiring and engaging our customers. He or she would have a history of professional marketing design work that demonstrates an inspiring creative eye and capability to produce compelling visual content that achieves campaign goals. You are not only a designer but a critical thinker that can champion projects holistically and develop elegant creative pieces.
General Role & Responsibilities
Contribute and lead design ideation and solutions for ZeroKey’s products and services.
Develop and execute creative strategies for marketing campaigns, branding, corporate identity, and other creative objectives.
Scope and execute the creative process of defining requirements, timelines, concepting, and creation for a number of key marketing areas including landing pages, illustrations, layouts, photography, videos, animations, infographics, presentations, icons, collateral materials, and other related outputs.
Design digital ad creative for a variety of channels, including social media and display networks.
Work with external creative agency partners to develop and deliver on-brand creative elements for omni-channel campaigns.
Provide creative solutions in-line with current trends.
Act as the gatekeeper of the ZeroKey brand when working with external contractors and vendors, ensuring visual identity standards are maintained across channels and mediums.
Experience & Education
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent in multimedia, interactive media, graphic design or design-related field
Minimum 5 years of highly relevant experience in graphic design
Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and retargeting based on metrics-based feedback
Exceptional understanding and ability in creative disciplines: graphic design, typography and language, illustrations, photography and/or video production
Experience designing for web, app, and other digital mediums
A strong visual portfolio with real projects required. Only candidates with a portfolio will be considered.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and beneficial to know Premiere and After Effects
Excellent computer skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
A strong understanding of user interface design principles and best practices
Ability to prioritize multiple streams of tasks efficiently to meet project timelines
Self-starter personality willing to grow professionally within a high growth tech company
Great written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Knowledge of responsive web design methods and frameworks
Prior experience marketing tech hardware products
Prior experience with new product introduction
Experience working in a B2B environment
Prior experience using WordPress (or general web design skills an asset)
Experience using HubSpot an asset
Any experience with photography, video production, or video editing
$70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
