A lot of technology is seen as being unsuitable for mobile use, and virtual reality is at the top of that list. VR headsets, like Oculus Rift or HTC Vive set the standard for virtual reality experiences and some people feel as if mobile VR is a less significant experience, but ZeroKey has improved that.
ZeroKey’s proof of concept is demonstrated at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which happens to be the biggest exhibition for the mobile industry. The sensors are portable and mobile, making it easy to set up those boundaries around you. Our technology emits clicking sounds, so we basically use echolocation to locate those sensors by using the reflecting sound. The data is collected and then used to define the space around you and opens the doors to a great mobile VR experience.
