Location Driven Warehousing

Quantum RTLS 2.0 locates barcode scanners with 1.5mm 3D accuracy as they move throughout the warehouse. The ZeroKey system records the real-time position of the barcode scanner when each item is scanned, resulting in precise, up-to-date location information for every single product in the warehouse.
2. Product locations are recorded and displayed on a map
The 3D location of every product is stored in a database accessible by every worker. Retrieval of products is simplified, especially in environments where specialty products or seasonal items do not have permanent locations, and up-to-date information is siloed to a stocking specialist.
3. Work order and pick list are verified with scanned 3D location
Order pick lists are automatically sorted by item location to optimize routing during fulfillment. The location of high loads and other workers is accounted for to eliminate bottlenecks. As a picked item is scanned, the system compares the positioning data collected during stocking and picking, verifying in real-time that the correct item was picked.
